NMC council has implemented changes in English language requirements

The Nursing and Midwifery Council has implemented changes in the IELTS/OET combining test score
- NMC has extended the period for combining test scores from six to twelve months
- The new minimum combining score requirement for IELTS/OET in writing, reading, listening, and speaking is 6/C, 6.5/C+,6.5/C+, and 6.5/C+ respectively.
- The council will allow employers to provide supporting evidence of English language proficiency for individuals already contributing to the health and social care in the UK.
